Google faced a challenge attracting new advertisers due to the difficulty in efficiently producing quality live-action video ads for YouTube. In response, I oversaw a partnership between my agency and Google called “The Google Video Creative Program” in order to deliver original, high-quality YouTube ads at speed and scale for U.S. brands.

Leading the initiative, I worked with my team to curate a diverse network of global creative and production partners, ensuring varied perspectives and expertise. Together, we underwent rigorous training in “Google’s ABCDs of effective creative” for YouTube, to create a dedicated team of digital and YouTube experts aligned with industry best practices.

Utilizing Genero's platform, we optimized processes and streamlined collaboration from creative brief to asset delivery. This ensured each participating advertiser received multiple video assets and variations for effective media targeting, testing, and optimization.

Our efforts resulted in over 500 creative assets delivered, with an impressive 84% produced by diverse creative teams. This achievement underscores the program's impact and our commitment to inclusivity and innovation in digital advertising.
